Sentry Group (“Sentry Group,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through sentrygrp.com (the “Site”), how we use and protect it, and the choices available to you. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide to us. When you submit forms on the Site, we collect the information you enter, which may include your name, email address, phone number, company name, and the contents of your message. We use this information solely to respond to your inquiry.
Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers may automatically collect certain technical information, including your IP address, browser type, device type, operating system, referring URLs, pages viewed, and the dates and times of your visit. This information is collected through cookies, web beacons, and similar technologies, and through analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
Information about business contacts and prospects. We use Apollo, a sales engagement and customer relationship management (“CRM”) platform, to manage our business development and client communications. In addition to information you submit directly to us, Apollo may provide us with information about you from its own database of business contact information and other third-party or publicly available sources — for example, if you are identified as a potential business contact based on your professional role or company. This may include your name, business email address, phone number, job title, employer, and similar professional contact details. We use this information to identify and reach out to prospective clients and business contacts.
We do not knowingly collect any sensitive financial, banking, or account information through the Site itself. Any such information exchanged as part of an actual client engagement is handled separately, outside the Site, under the terms of that engagement.
2. Cookies, Analytics, and Email Tracking
The Site uses cookies and similar tracking technologies to understand how visitors use the Site and to improve its content and performance. We currently use, or may use, Google Analytics or a comparable analytics service, which places its own cookies and processes data according to its own privacy policy. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings; disabling cookies may affect certain features of the Site but will not prevent you from browsing it.
When we or Apollo send you emails — including replies to submissions through forms on the Site or outreach to prospective business contacts — those emails may contain tracking technologies (such as pixels or tracked links) that tell us whether an email was opened or a link was clicked. We use this information to understand engagement with our communications and to follow up appropriately.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Respond to inquiries submitted through forms on the Site;
- Identify, manage, and communicate with prospective clients and business contacts through Apollo;
- Operate, maintain, and improve the Site;
- Understand how visitors use the Site and engage with our communications (e.g., traffic patterns, popular pages, email opens/clicks);
- Communicate with you about our services; and
- Comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. How We Share Your Information
We do not share your personal information with third parties except as described here:
- Apollo (CRM and sales engagement platform). We use Apollo to store and manage submissions from forms on the Site and business contact/prospect information, send and track email communications, and support our business development efforts. Apollo processes this information on our behalf and, as described in Section 1, may also supply us with business contact information about you from its own data sources. Apollo’s own privacy practices are described at apollo.io/privacy-policy.
- Analytics providers. Automatically collected data may be shared with analytics providers (such as Google Analytics) to help us understand Site usage.
- Legal requirements. We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, your safety, or the safety of others.
- Business transfers. If Sentry Group is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
5. Data Retention
We retain submissions from forms on the Site, business contact/prospect information, and related correspondence for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to your inquiry, pursue or maintain a business relationship, and for legitimate business, legal, or record-keeping purposes, after which it is deleted or anonymized.
6. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
7. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for a business audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
8. Your Choices
You may decline to submit information through forms on the Site, in which case we will be unable to respond to your inquiry. If you receive outreach from us and do not wish to be contacted, you may unsubscribe using the link provided in our emails or by contacting us directly, and we will remove you from future communications. You may also contact us at any time to ask what information we hold about you, including information obtained through Apollo, or to request that we correct or delete it, and we will respond as appropriate.
9. Links to Other Websites
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those websites. We encourage you to review the privacy policy of any site you visit.
10. Governing Law
This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
